unless forced induction road ur not going to extract heaps of power from an n/a setup
get exhaust system done (extrators right to the tip of the muffler) some sort of cold air induction (basically a pipe to get colder air from the bottom of ur front bumper to ur intake) and a chip, will set u back prolly around 2grand all up i reckon tho for a 15kW gain or so
after that its really looking at upgrading cams, bigger throttle body, port n polished heads, bore it out to 3.2-3.3 ltrs, driveabilty will more likely to go out the window but will be faster, very costly road to go down in a magna
orrr, find like our resident gen2 nut KillBilly has done and got himself a DOHC 6G72 (engine name for the engine u have) and u'll be running 14's :) dunno cost of it tho
or look into getting a turbo or s/c setup on it, gen2 engine space might make it harder tho?? dunno about the v6's

geez that was quick, anyways is it worth the money and effort. I was lookin at spendin maybe $600 - $800 what would be most useful in that range.
