I don't know if mine has been glued in there or someone has used Silastic or something but I am having a hard time removing the head light glass lens on my 3rd Gen.. I have the head light out completely and have taken all the clips off but I just cant seem to get the lens off...

I want to renew it soon, so while I had it out anyway I thought I would see what is involved.. problem is where I try to lever it with a screw driver I am bending the plastic housing edging... anyone else done it and faced the same? Any suggestions?

Cheers.

they are glued in at the factory, not sure why them clips are put there as it will never come apart. 99% sure you cant buy just the lens any way.

Yeah, I figured they were glued but they are for sale on http://www.ozeparts.com.au/ so I just assumed they are removable... Have a look $50 each!

Oven? I suppose that is worth a shot... are you speaking from experience?

edit: Knowing me I would forget I put it in there and end up having a shrivelled up blob of plastic and one glass lens that I didn't really want lol would be a good excuse for a new one he he
