I have a gray 1992 Magna i was wondering are you able to install 6inch speaker inside the doors, instead of of dish speakers,because i am thinking of doing that, need some help with this.

Hey billy, u prolly allready said this to me in a previous post, but are they the JayCar Kevlar splits? and did u originally have a map pocket on the bottem. did u just take it off and re-fab the bottom part?

Yeah they're the kevlars, and I just took of the map pocket and glued on some black carpet.

They're 6.5" speakers...plenty of room for them to fit in

Not long, couple of hours, to cut it all out, put them in and do the carpeting. Then wiring them up and getting them going

A tip to make them sound even better is to make that bottom panel out of some MDF and screw it through the trim into the door, add to this some sound deadening and you'll notice much better power handling and midbase.

That's something I never got around to doing, but in my mates car the difference was noticeable!

any of you know , know how much it will cost or how long it would take it remove the trim from both doors so i can install the 6inch inside the doors

Not sure of the cost..I did it myself...took a couple of hours to do both doors and wire them up etc. Wasn't a major job.

There is a hole in the actual metal of the door but you will have to cut a hole in the door trim to fit a speaker(and remove the map pocket if it has one).
