I'm thinking of getting some cheap mods to make my stock 2002 Magna Series II Executive look meaner. Though I'd get a VRX spoiler for the rear and I was looking to get a bonnet scoop or some vents as well but I'm not sure what would look best.

Any ideas?

Hehe, yeah I know. I'm prepared for that.

*double checks fire extinguiser*

But my car is still under 3 years waranty so I figure if I start messing with engine mods and stuff then I'm just wasting my money.

Edit: I did a search and had a look at what some other people thought. The TJ bonnet doesn't really suit a scoop because the V lines are so close together (a scoop would cut across them). This was my initial concern to begin with.

Although I'm beginning to think that a rear facing scoop may look ok (and would be more functional for venting heat as well). Just raise the existing V lines up to the scoop opening. Anyone seen/heard of anything like this?

if you want to make it look more agressive, dont stick bonnet vents on it. It will only make it look tryhardish and people who actually know about cars will probably wonder wtf you have them there in the first place!

Maybe buy the vrx wheel arch kits and have the kit moulded (seemless) with the rest of the car body, would widen the car a bit and you could then allow for a wider profile tyre. It would enchance the looks + give you better traction!

Would make the car look very aggressive.

Somehow i think you want a cheap mod though..

Yeah, the cheaper the better :)

I can't stop thinking about this custom reverse scoop though. Just raise the V lines on the bonnet all the way to the windshield and have an opening there. Pretty unique but don't know how much something like that would cost.

Edit: check this out for a laugh. A very noob chop lol

The reverse scoop could work but the front nostrils :doubt: That's just my opinon though

I know it's a typo, but I just can't avoid imagining someone cruising around with Bain stuck to the bonnet... :bowrofl:

Yeah, the nostrils do look bad. I was just thinking it would create better air flow circulation with some sort of intake at the front and a vent at the back.

I know! A front facing scoop at the front and the same scoop in reverse at the windscreen :D
