who are most of you people with for insurance in vic?? and how much roughly for people on 3rd party??

i rang up asking about insurance and for my 1995xr6 3rd party fire and theft was $515(with extractors exhuast lowerd)

for 1989 TP 5speed stock as a rock $649????? :confused: :confused:

well, i get 3rd party fire and theft for my TM with a few mods... mags, exhaust etc for $24 a month. so... that would b like $288. thats through suncorp.

im in QLD though, but i dunno if it would change by like $300 or so that u are saying. $650 is alot :nuts:

For the same price you can 3rd party a Cordia Turbo and ET pulsar Turbo :nuts:

and those prices are with the xr covered up to 5k and the magna covered to 3k

My fire and theft was $474 with RACV.

but ive had cheap and expensive quotes on my car, as low as $150 with only a $600 excess and as high as $600

Perhaps its due to your car being lowered (judging from your avatar) and having tinted windows, looks better, hence more likely to be stolen....

they dont know my mods due 2 it only having 3rd party i havnt told them meh i dont care

sounds like that particular insurance company may be talking out their arse with that price

up until this year (pre 21) insurance on my tp efi was a little over $400 with fire/theft
its got tint, mags, stereo, immobiliser (thats helps a bit) and a couple of 'non standard' accesories according to aami

now since i'm over 21 its almost half that

I know im in qld, but that is a ridiculous price, my wagon has window tinting, extractors, mags, sports steering wheel and it aint that much. Unless where you are has an incredible rate of 1st gen magnas being stolen???? frigged if i know why they would quote you that much.
