Just a quick question: Can anyone confirm which car has a larger interior, I can find it on any offical website, do all three cars use the same floor plan????

We have test driven a Ralliart and VRX, and it feel like the rear seat of the VRX has more room.

The cars are all basically identical inside. Technically the Ralliart probably has less interior space because its seats have extra padding lol

I don't even think the Sports/VR-X seats have any additional bolstering compared to the other models, despite their sports car theme.

Yes all use same floorplan, slight interior space differences will be from different front seats taking up more/less room.

how did you find the difference between the two? ( i know you have a post on this ,but how do you feel now that you have driven them?)


ill be upgrading to a vrx at the end of the year, but im thinking about stretching the budget for a ralliart if its worth it

Some of the other Ralliart owners may argue this point, but for the record i'm just stating my opinnion on the topic.

I wouldn't bother spending the extra money on the Ralliart unless it was a manual which of course comes with LSD.

nah.. the sports and VRX have more bolstering than a exec or advance

The test driving was interesting, with a salesman sitting in the back (my wife was beside me) it’s really hard to 'test' it the way you would like. We tested the Ralliart first.

Some of our points.

Ralliart - PROS: Interior, especially the seats are of higher standard, the brakes are better, the pick up is better and the standard ICE is great. CONS: With the extra padding on the back seat you lose a little bit of room, you felt ever bump with the suspension (that’s a wife comment)

VRX - PROS: Interior is not as 'in-your-face' as the Ralliart, more leg room in the back. CONS: the brakes aren’t as good, the pickup difference you can notice, 8 speaker vs. 14 speaker standard ICE

We look like we will pay the little bit extra and get the Ralliart.

i notice when im driving my sisters vrx it seems alot bigger on the inside! in the ralliart it almost feels like my head is about to touch the roof, but in the vrx there is pleanty of space coz ralliart seats are heaps more padded. doesnt look like it though. i actually find the vrx seats more comfortable!

Depends on which models you are comparing. The TL vrx has different seats to the TJ. For example, the TL front seats are sculpted for more knee room in the back compared to the TJs..

That's right. I don't think you'll find any different in space in the rear between a TJ Ralliart and a TJ VRX. However, the TL does have a sculpted backs to the front seats for extra rear knee room.
