Hey, just wondering if it is possible to bore out the intake plenium where the throttle body bolts on, to allow for a bigger throttle body to be put on. Ie. Putting on a 80mm XF Falcon throttle body onto a 2.6 "92 EFI motor?
or another throttle body, and also if there are any problems with the TPS when doing this?
Cheers in advance
Chris

XF throttle body is 65mm and it doesn't have and idle speed control and probably a different TPS. A larger throttle body would also require an adapter plate.
Do a search, I have seen a few threads about bored out throttle bodies on here, a V6 mitsu one would have all the right EFI bits on it for your 2.6.

XF ZL fairlane TB is 80MM, i know because i have one.
Should be able to bolt onto the magna, but might have a little trouble with the TPS.
