i was wondering if there was anything different between the TH-TJ latch mechanism bit? seeing i gotta get a new grill and some small damage on my hood fixed, i was thinking about solving it in one hit with a TJ hood... would probably almost end up cheaper or about the same... would i have any problems fitting it?

There is a new member here with a light blue TE with TJ bonnet. Cant think of his username, there was a welcome thread about him not long ago, and he works in mitsubishi spare parts. Can anyone else shed some light?

Anyways i remember him saying a slight adjustment had to be made, just not sure what.

Its a TE. The tj bonnet and grille go straight on, only thing is the w/strips and sound pad are different

i think they might be the rubber strips that stop the water? or are they the rubber pad bits that sit on the side panels and the bonnet sits on? just guessing here

Yeah dude get it done ASAP...
I have converted my TF to TJ (front & back) with TL VRX tail lights...
Looks much newer/better imo...got the back done cheap when someone hit me...
As fas as I can remember the bonnet latch is different on the TJ...
Cheers...

:stoopid: For some reason I happen to share the same opinion as you Bain in 99% of cases.

yeah nothing beats the th bonnet with a nice looking grill

the th grills are the only things making the car ugly in my opinion

yeah i reckon i'll stick with the TH hood and grill, and eventually go with the KH Verada rear lights or something... expensive but my favorite looking rear on the magnas

Why not grab a KH Verada grill while you're at it then? :) I rekon it'd look good on your car.

nah, not a real big fan of the KH grill, i'll stick with the TH Altera chrome grill for now (looks meaner than the Verada one) i might eventually go a black letterbox-style or something... i need parabolics dammnit!!
