Sorry to get your hopes up guys & gals, but I don't have one and I'm not making them. But there is someone ( EZ Boy) who is making them for the 3rd Gen Magna. And assuming this all goes well, if he wants to do it again and he's not sick of it, he may make one for the 2nd Gen  .

Here's the thread:

PLEASE don't post in the above thread - let's leave it to EZ Boy & the 3rd Gen owners.

Please vote in this thread's Poll and post here if you would be interested in a Pod Box for a 2nd Gen Magna (assuming one is ever made).

I'm raising this to find out how many of us 2nd Gen owners would be interested (so hopefully EZ Boy or someone else will make us one) and to keep us 2nd Gen owners out of his thread - to help him focus on the 3rd Gen owners first which is what he wants to do.

My mate is making up a carbon fibre cai for his pulsar and I was thinking of doing the same for my car. :D If I do I'll consider making them up for others at close to cost prices. (A lot less than some quoted ones. $400  ) For a rough idea the carbon fibre and resin cost him about 200 so i reakon I could poss sell them at 200-300. But I'm not sure on the price as I haven't done mine yet so i'm not exactly sure how much resin or fibre I will use for one box. I'll get back to everyone after I've made mine up to see who's interested.

There are two posts because I own 2x 3rd Gens and no 2nd gen. Once the 3rd gen one is succesfully done, I'll run 2nd gen and 1st gen units.

I think your refering to my 2 threads on the same topic ? - Not sure why. I had problems with my IE crashing and it didn't get to the create Poll page. I guess the other one will eventually disappear of the first page and then we won't need to worry about it.

The Carbon Fibre option sounds great - keep us informed. Is CF hard to get or hard to work with ? or is it just that it's expensive ?

It's a ***** to get hold of. We had to ring up about 10 different places util we found someone that stocked it. A boat builder of all people. Apparently they use it a lot. It is a fair bit more expensive than fibreglass but it looks so much cooler. An amazing rice effect!! lol

Actually, cammerra and I are co-working this particular project: He's making the mould and doing the design work, I'm just teeing up the fabricator and being there for him to bounce ideas off. Since he's not online as often as I'm able to be, he asked me to post a EOI thread so people could register their interest.

No matter which one you post at, we'll get in touch with you ;)
