hey guys i have 2 question.i wanna put a new muff on my car...im not a fan of the round cannons but today i saw a s/s oval type one with dual square tips.

i wanna put it on my car and make it flush on my rear bumper bar so ill get a pannel beater to cut into the bumper to make it classyit...i think it would look really good if done right

my question is
1)if i put on a tj tippy will it make that crappy sound that sounds like washers up the exhaust pipes?

2)and will it be the same sound as the cannon or a cross between the cannon and say a lukey sports muff?

Depending on brand and design, should be a little louder than stock, and much beefier. Like a Lukey, only more so. Shouldn't be farty like many cannons can be. Those come with the tips as your pic shows, so you shouldn't need to add any tips to it.

I'm not a fan of V6's having an exhaust. Not that i'm a hater, but Any V8 sounds a ****load better than a V6. I'd rather hear a supercharger winding up on a v6 than a froggy exhaust.
Something about the bark matching the bite.

I've heard many cars who's bite didn't match the bark, 4, 6, 8 or whatever.

What about compared to the stock on the Sports models?

Sports models have an upgraded exhaust over the base model, the engine is the same so this exhaust will probally sound beefier compared to sports and alot beefier to base

Yeah, what he said. Sports is better/louder/beefier than stock, the one you posted the pic of would be better/louder/beefier than the Sports one.

Have you ever heard a good alfa V6 or even a ferrari dino, they are regarded as some of the best sounding motors and they are V6

yes, i have heard 2 alfa 156's (i think thats the v6 models) one with an exhaust mod and one thats stock, they both sound rather nice!
and my car (even tho its a 4cyl) has a lukey exhaust and sounds way beefier than stock (obviously), and i only hav a 2.5" single tip muffler, but sounds nice, although i woulda liked a 2.5" twin tip muffler

i replaced everything except for the cat, i spoke to the owner of this company who is a friend of a friend and he has owned a 3rd gen magna in the past. he said the resonators drop down to 2.25in and so do a couple other sections of the exhaust, the cat is 2.5in though so i repleaced both resonators and upgraded ALL the piping to 2.5in plus had my pacemakers and muffler put on for $480 :D <---that price includeds a new flex pipe,so double :D

if i were you i'd buy the muffler and have it put on, plus buy a k&n panel filter and make your own CAI and then upgrade the exhaust later if you want...
