I have a Magna TP Sedan, and the boot rattles like crazy because of the subwoofer, and it's kind of a problem considering I can hear it inside my vehicle (dependant on song of course).

Anyone got any idea of what I need to do, where I need to do it and..hibbidy doo blah?

Sound deadener - Many brands available. Can be bought from jb hifi, autobarn car audio places etc. The best stuff is the tar/bitumen based mats. They roll on. Best brands include dynamat, g spot, stinger roadkill, serenity etc etc.

Also cheaper stuff from jaycar

This adds weight and decreases the panels resonant frequency. Stop resonance of individual panels.

Just jam foam/cardboard around the places to stop spot rattles.

I just got coloured silicone (same as the car) and filled the gap between the bracing and the boot lid skin.

Never had a rattle since. I also did the same with the bracing in the roof of the car.

Yeah guys dont do it on the cheap... Another bad one is gap filler. Makes an absolute mess.

The only way to go is using something like foam or rubber to separate the rattling items. Or using a proper sound deadener. You can buy paint on ones for a bit cheaper. If you do this try Sound off. Sets like a rock. Especially good for behind trims.
To stop rattling cables, cover them with duct tape.

Peace

On the subject on boot rattles.. does anyone know how to get the rear light out of a TJ sports spoiler ( the big ironing board one ) cause the cable which connects the light rattles lots and gives me the shyts.

Errr...no

Depends on if it's Acetic or Neutral cure...Neutral cure will do nothing. Maybe you should read up on silicone...
