I had my Pink slip test done 2day and i was told that my engine mounts are either saging or shifted. Anyone Had this b4? TE97 200 on the clock.
What would it cost to get a new engine mount, and how many engine mounts are there???

Yes, it is a known problem, they die after a while.

Do a search on engine mounts... the QLD guys do them exchange with polyurethane inserted which is stronger than rubber, but makes more noise.

There was a thread, use search to find it.

just fitted my engine mount last night.
Got it from the QLD guys.

They also help reduce engine movement (IE less movment then the stock mounts)
Only compromise is a little more noise but you barely notice it.

Yes ,I did My drivers side last week they are not so cheap I did not expect $230 with installation but It must be done

I was told that between 200 and 230KMS the mounts start to go on you.

Which raises my question of for an Aussie build ( and Aussie parts build) car why do Magna parts cost so bloody much?

I was told that between 200 and 230KMS the mounts start to go on you. I did my front one in my TJ before 90,000. I dont remember the price exactly, I'd sooner forget.
