I snapped my arial off on a stupid tree!

Its just a standard non electric one on my TF exec. Can i just replace it with any old generic cheapy from autobarn or do i need a mitsu part.

Is it hard to replace or can i just unscrew the little silver thing on top and drop a new one in?

No radio is driving me nuts! help out plz.

Seek Out a replacement Aerial.. I believe AERPRO make one to suite the TE-TF..
A quick call into your local car audio store will be able to track one down..
A good Idea is for them to fit it aswell as it is a mongrel of a job..

I have a TF Magna with a snapped antenna also but the radio still works perfectly fine.

it snapped right at the base, it still works but the reception is dodgy in valleys and stuff with lots of static.

You can get a replacement aerial from autobarn, just get the actual aerial part as thats all you need.

I snapped my ariel on my TF Advance non-electric and picked up another one from mitsubishi for $16 or so, so there is no point spending 150 bucks on some generic one even if its electric.

I've replaced a non-electric arial on my TF. I also baught an aeropro brand one for around $50 from autobarn. It is really easy to do, no cutting of wires or anything needed. Just remove the carpet on the left side of the boot and you will see what I mean, really easy, takes about 5mins :)
