well hpefully b4 my dyno day ill have a EZY BOYS throttle body and a good CAI set up

i have heard some crazy stories where ppl supposedly getlike 20 extra kw's from cai and stuff ....

well obviously im not expecting that id be happy with a small increase ... but yeah what u think ?

everyne i have spoke to that has the TB say its alot more responsive when u press the accelarator down and is slightly puncier down low ...

the CAI everyone has been saying its given them more up top ...and their engine is freezong cold even after a big drive ...

ill be happy with only a slight increase ... but what r ur oppinions on how it would change ? if at all?

last dyno i got 133 atw's .. ina perfectly similar dyno run being exact same condition as my last one what increase would i be expecting? 5 kw's ? .. and maybe slightly if not microscopic increase of tourque?

I would actually tend to agree with all your assumptions there... my DIY hiflo TB that I did gave me a tad more responsiveness at the pedal and the POD (no CAI) has given me more torque up top... 5 kw or just a few more might be a safe estimate if the CAI is done well... I wouldn't get overly enthused by the hiflo as there is only so much it really can be machined out.

As I say to everyone... every little bit adds up.

Edit: I am pretty skeptical of 20kw gains from CAI and yeah... you may feel more torque than anything else... like more pulling power up hills etc

lol yeah i think we have all heard claims from ppl that they got that big gains from CAI but i havnt ever seen it proven .... id be happy with a small increase

oh and turqe was: stock 3200 N, +cai, cannon, pod and hi-flow 4050 N, almost a 30% gain there

Yeah but his is a sports.. so his exhaust system will be different to yours (slightly)

So i doubt his gains would be as good as yours.

Id expect 1 - 5kws .. at the fly...

Honestly, a pod/panel or whatever isnt going to give you much if any increase. The T/B doesnt increase power, you just think it does because more air is already rushing through. All it does is produce WOT sooner..

talking about dynos, i tryed 3 differnt one's and all of them gave me a differnt reading's 116kw, 124kw and 112kw. just so people know they are only realy good for tuning and comparing with your mates car(if done one after the other)

just a lil off topic ..... but considering i got the CAR and TB under wraps aswell as zorst ...... and getting extractors soon ..... what other decent mods do ya recon i could get done BEFORE CAMS END ECU? ..im not talking bout handling mods either just speed/toque mods ?

I am still wondering if a Rising Fuel Rate FPR is worth a shot... i can never seem to get enough factual information on it. considering I have the EManage and such I would like to think that it might be a worthwhile mod for me... it may be the case for you too, dont know.
