hey guys
just bought a magna with a pioneer deh-1450 headunit and i can't for the life of me work out how to change the clock on it.
everything else i can work out fine, just not the clock
on my sony i used to hold down the "Display" button and eventually the time would flash and you could change it from there using volume buttons. but holding down the "clock" button doesn't do it on the pioneer.
any ideas? i assume it'd be the same for all pioneer HU's like 4550, etc.

Last time I had to change the time on a Pioneer Head unit you pushed and held the Clock button then used 5 or 6 station button to change the time.. but that was a while ago

Sounds similar to my head unit, will look in the manual overnight and see. It's got something to do with pressing buttons while it is off, but the ignition is on...
Why use the clock, doesn't the car have one?

Turn it off with the green button next to the 1 2 3 4, hold the button down.
Then press the clock button and the tims should come up then ya change the number by pressing up n down and move accros by pressing the left n right button, then just turn it back on.
Think thats how ya do it, i have the same HU.

Front are stiill stock, im looking for a set of X-Overs, and i dont wanna buy anything cus i dunno if the car is goin to be sold, its not actually my car its my parents.
Rears are Axis 240watt, not the best but again its not my car so im not spending lots of money on it that i wont be able to either take with me for my car or that i wanna keep.
Ive also got a sub, 15 JL audio powerd by a 600Watt JBL GTO.
Much doof, even sets of car alrams.
If ya wanna know nething more about it just let me know.
Oh and its a pretty good head unit, havnt had ne trouble with it, only one thing is its not MP3  but other than that a quality HU.

Ive had my clarion deck for 7 years and still dont know how to change the time.. lol lol lolI have an older Clarion head unit, was in the car when I bought it, and I contacted Clarion, and they sent me out the instruction book. Convoluted way to set the time, though.
Lucky someone else replied, I thought about looking up the instructions on ours at home, but didn't get there.
