ok, ive been told that there is no difference between the tj sports and vrx  is this true?
can someone please piont out all the differences to me ( no matter how small, im aware of the body kit difference!)

i will be looking for a tj vrx at the end of the year, but if the sports are the same, ill think about getting one of them ( cheaper to buy and insure  )

thanx in advance!

TJ series one the VRX had passenger side airbag and body kit over the sport (added about 50kg). Series 2 the VRX gained 17" rims over the Sports 16".

Same Power, and apart from the bodykit, Sports 16" Rims, VRX 17" (series 2 VRX)(see my profile for a pic of Sports w/17's), the VRX has a Chrome exhaust tip, different writing on the seats (sports or VR-X), VR-X sticker on the engine instead of Sports Sticker etc.

thats cool, thanx guys!

i think ive just made my mind up, im going to get a sports

got some insurance quotes today. these are all based on a 2002 tj ,insured for $25ooo

VRX- $889

Sports- $711

Ralliart- $1483

i dont care about the different stickers, and ill be changing the exhaust and wheels anyway, and a sports will be a bit more of a sleeper!

i cant wait! just gotta keep saving those pennies

;)

Too true, and they go damn hard for what they are...

Find a manual though, well worth the extra effort looking:dancin:

VRX does look a lot better though. And they might have the only mitsubishi wheel I dont dislike.

That's my plan, a TH sports is even more of a sleeper
The sports looks better than a VRX anyway, imho.

Sorry, back on topic... Hey do they share the same exhaust system? the sports and VRX?They do, the only difference is the tip on the muffler.

The Sports has a downward facing pipe.

The VRX has a chrome tip.

i know the vrx looks cool, but i also tlike the way my tf looks lowered with wheels, nice clean lines, so cause a sports looks like my car now, just with more power, ill be happy!
