I have a ralliart magna with just standard audio system. I'm thinking about upgrading the speakers in the front doors and get an amp and woofer as well. I don't know much about what brand or what speakers or amps to get and how to install and what's needed like cable and stuff. Plus I don't want anything big cos I want as much space in the boot as I can. Any suggestions?
Isn't there auxiliary input on the eclipse headunit somewhere? I want to say plug in a MD player or MP3 player. Just wondering how to do it.
Thanks

The new jaycar carbon fibre subs are pretty awesome and are optimised for small sealed enclosures, so you would have plenty of boot space left. Im getting one hopefully in the next couple weeks.

As for splits, it depends majorly on how much you want to spend!! Any where form $50 - $1000! But FHRX is your man. Look around car audio, as the question of which splits is is asked by heaps of people.

Cheers

Best way to get the stereo gear your after is to visit as many places as you can and listen to as many of the different brands that you can and let your ears decide for you what you get. Its the easiest way to be happy with your purchase, cause what sounds good to one person may sound bad to another

There is an aux input, a 3.5mm stereo socket on a lead that comes out the back of the unit. Take the stereo section of the console out and unwrap the bundle of aux cables from the back of the stereo to find it(wrapped in foam stuff), the lead will reach so that you can poke it through into the glovebox.

As for speakers i love my focal's but they are expensive.

just pulled my cd player out my ralliart and was wondering which one is the aux input? do u have to use the 4 RCA cable input, there is front right and left and a rear right and left. i have a adaptor that converts RCA to headphone jack, am i using the right one? or do u use just the single RCA to headphone jack?
