Hey,

I just got new rims and i want to paint my calipers, but i have no idea of what colour would look good.

I know it needs lowering....getting that done next month, and getting a tint done next week :D

Thanks!

red will be fine, or black for Essendon/Perth/North Sydney colour combination with the red car.

thanks guys

i was thinking red or black.. but im worried that bright glossy red would clash with the colour of my car, cause its kind of an orangey browny red weird colour.... ("burra" if we want to get technical)...

would you even be able to see black? maybe it would just make it look nice and clean and simple...

if ya can find a similar red to the car .. that would be awesome ... otherwise black would be fine

Black makes them almost impossible to see.

In my opinion the reason for painting calipers is to draw attention to that area of the car. When I got my 18's fitted the shop painted my calipers black - which I didn't really like.

Recently painted them bright yellow - which definetly achieves the job of "drawing attention". If you can't decide on a specific colour but you don't want your calipers to be invisible (ie black) i'd suggest the "brushed aluminium" colour in the VHT caliper paint range. Neutral but still visible.

Hey Esemte, thanks, i got them in a wheel and tyre package for $1900.

Thanks for your replies everyone, if i can find a similar colour red to my car ill do it that colour i think.... if i spray them myself, and dont like it... is it removable?!

Ever since i painted my calipers red my brakes squeal, I cant work out why But a few people think that the r high performance brakes so it always go along with that.
