just got my TH serviced (150k) and amongst other things they reckon:

a) all drive belts need replacing
b) need new battery
c) need brake fluid flush
d) need new fuel filter
e) need new front "struts" i'm assuming he means shocks, but i thought struts were something elsE? *shrug* got quoted $465 for this

anyways i wanna do most of this stuff myself so i'm going to get the manual for the car

Went into supercheap auto and they said "yeh there is a manual, but we don't stock it"
I'm going to try conventry's tommorow but has anyone here got the workbook for their TH and where did you get it from?

cheers lol

I've got a Haynes one which covers TE-TJ.
Got mine at BigW but also seen it at Autobarn.

Pitstop Bookshop normally have both the Haynes and Gregorys manuals...

Haynes:
http://www.pitstop.net.au/pitstop/prog/OpenDocument.cgi?id=V0X7S13PUM&PLU=11502

Gregorys:

I have both plus the CD from Mitsu. :D

ANyone know where would be the best place to go to get a service book for a 3.0L TF?
Something that outlines what needs to be done for each service

There's a workshop manual on CD going around. Ask a member in your state for a copy :)

You can find that in your Service & Warranty book that came with your car. (Thin booklet)

I've seen both the Gregory's and the Haynes manuals. The Gregory's manual seems to me much more detailed.
