View Full Version : '87 Carby problems.
My parts ***** won't start. She'll crank, and attempt to start. Timing's OK, there's fuel (ejecting out of the carby...) and spark.
Any idea?

try disconnecting the bowl valve vacume hose thing, try to start it, hold down the accelerator while trying to start it and see if it kicks over that way
Problem solved. The cat converter has collapsed, blocking the exhaust. (Cheated. It's running a fuel injected manifold and exhaust)
