If I plugged then Engine Computer from a 3.0litre Sports Manual into my TE Executive Manual would there be any hassles or Benfits ?????

I thought the 3.0 TF Sports had the same power output as the rest of the models.

It's going to be a hassle since security wise, your ECU is *linked* to your security module and body electronics module. So if any of them changes, the car will not start.

I must argee with tecoDaN!!

Security will be a big issue:

the magna starting keys are computerised you will need to re-code the hole system

What model got the most power out 0f the 6G72 ???
I want to get more power out of the Engine once I have done the Bare Essentials like Exhaust and Filter but I do not want to go as far as Cams and Piggyback Computers...

you are gonna pay a pretty penny for a stock ecu anyway.

for the little bit extra get a unichip and u can reprogram it anytime and get much bigger gains

The fact that when you D/C the battery, then re-connect, it asks you whether it's a 3.0 or 3.5, and whether it's a sedan or wagon, would seem to indicate that it's the same ECU. :)

On the TH it does, but this is the first basic model that 3.5 was offered in, excluding Verada. :D

Mine don't
It is a very simple car .. No mod cons what so ever...
I am just waiting for my local wreckers to have one of their "$50 all you can carry" sales..
So if I do find one, I can rip it out and use it to good effect..
