Hey i was at the wreckers yesterday and i was looking at a few Diamantes that they had there and i noticed that they had and instrument cluster that looked like it was black out??? Does anyone know if they would swap over and has anyone done it before???

On another note He had some one piece para's there and he wanted $180 each for them is that a good deal??? I asked him if i bought a few could he do anything with the price and he said call back on monday and talk to the Boss... Maybe a group buy coming up!!!

If you can get some one piece para's at that price or less, I'm in. Dibs! lol

Once i find out on monday how much i can get them for i will let you know... He had a set that were the 2 piece but he said that they were more expenisve as they are the original ones so i didn't bother asking him how much they were but if anyone is interested i can find out about them aswell???

He also had a MIVEC engine for a magna in a half cut with manual gearbox for $4000 :D but i don't think that i will be getting that at this time :D

Seriously though, sorry, I'm not too sure. I'd guess it would be pretty much the same as some of the Veradas out there, so someone must know.

chances are it could very well be the same - if not, very similar...

i'm not sure exactly... but i know working with my TM and other magnas, that many things are similar... even other models of car - like sigmas...

it would be more cost effective to have the one wiring loom... instead of designing a whole other one for the diamante (it might have a few differences - like the instrument cluster on the left of the car... but i'm syre it'll have similar wiring and the majority of the other wiring looms in the diamante would be the same)

then again - i could be wrong... :)

It is on the right hand side as these are diamantes from Japan so i guess that it should just be a straight swap over then??? I think that i might go in there on saturday with my car and change it over while i am there like the guy has said :D

Hey i will find out on saturday i tried to call the today but I couldn't get through!!! There number says it has been disconnected...

I think it could be that mitsubishi auto salvage but i can't really remember??? i know it is in malaga... I am looking at setting a few group buys up so maybe i can represent him on this site but i will let you all know i don't really know if he will go for it but i will have to see how good i am at convincing him???
