Just installed my flowed T/B and am having problems with idle speed.
Started first time and idled at around 1600 rpm. Tried again with the same, let it idle a while with little change so I wound in the idle screw which brought it down to around 1200 rpm. Went for a short drive and it seems to have settled to a rpm of a shade over 1000rpm and with a very slight "hunt"
Anyone got any ideas what I can try? The only thing I can think of atm is to disconnect the battery for a while to reset the puter.

Also while doing the install job I found this hose (see pic) not connected to anything. I'm buggered if I can find what it goes to so was wondering if someone can help me out. Its basically under and to the rear of the T/B, you can see the MAF near my hand in the photo

throttle postiong sensor and base idle have to be reset, i did it on mine by mistake when i put mine on, Mitsubishi charges 44$ for this to be done, or if you know how and have a multi metre i think its set at around 650 mili or micro volts and 650 rpm

Ok, will see if I can manage it. I got my self a multimeter so I'll see how I go.

Anyone know where the hose goes?

Have you re-read the instruction leaflet and checked the photo. It looks like the hose that connects to the front on the plastic air inlet elbow just before is joins onto the TB. If this is off, then you will be idling higher. Again, if this TB is too agro, I'll swap it with my personal one. ;)

PM for details. Thanks.

Nah, happy with the T/B, just gotta get it a little more in tune me thinks :D

The hose you speak of (item 5 in your diagram) is connected. This one pictured comes from some canister looking thing near the firewall, underneath all the T/B stuff. I'm pretty sure I didnt unplug it so I'm a bit confused.
