Hey all
is that pivot point thing on a manual gear box suposed to be screwed all the way in, because when i try to clip the relase for on to it, it will hit a elevation in the box and it seems the ideal pivot point is further down the clutch realse fork than it apears the fork is made more

anyone help?
is there a diffrence between tn/tm/tp shift forks cause all the parts i have no idea on history of or even if they came from the same car

yeah mine was screwed all the way in, and i found out that if i pushed the clutch in then it would begin pivoting on another part of the box and the clutch would be real hard.

The answer? put a 2 mm spacer in between the pivot and the recess in the clutch fork, if you get me

Put the spacer in..

The fork probably doesn't need to travel as far as you're doing it by hand, so it probably won't touch that point.

I seem to remember that the release bearing end only moves around 6mm (I think the PBR clutch errata stated something like that)..

Cheers
