Heard like a bubbling sound so to speak coming from the engine after i got home, 12.44AM could not be bothered looking at it, but i know it dosent sound right.
Any ideas on what it could be coming from the front part of the radiator?
after driving on a hot day, or when i've been giving the car a bit of greif... i hear some bubbling from the radiator
is it a 2.6? if so... then maybe someone should tell us if it's normal or not...

If the radiator is bubbling after the engine is stopped then it boiling
A cars cooling system must be sealed to enable pressure to build and to raise the coolant boiling point above 100deg
The heat rises in an engine after it is stopped at operating temp and the coolant in the head will actually get hotter for a few minutes after the water pump stops.
If a cooling system has a small leak then pressure is lost and although the engine doesn't boil or get hot when driving because it is kept below 100deg by the flow. But it will boil for a minuite or so after shut down, starting a few seconds after it is shut down hot.
Start by checking the seal on the radiator cap.

this sort of problem is common in the tr 4cly magnas, i have had 2 tr magnas both did the bubbleing in the radiator . the problem was cuased by cracks between the bolt holes in the block used for boltin the head down. they both went to the engin recondtioners for repairs. not cheap
need any more details pm me
my motor is reconditioned and has a brand new head!! :doubt:

Mines re-built not long ago aswell, wonder what it could be...
OMG! No way! I had EXACTLY this happen on Sunday. Head a funny bubbling noise (like a kettle) coming from under the bonnet, and found out that my radiator had spat pretty much all of the water out into the overflow container and steam was escaping from the radiator cap. My temperatures were soaring through the roof. Filled up the radiator an checked the radiator cap, the rubber seal aound the cap was destroyed.
Once I had filled the radiator with teh help of a mate (who kindly allowed me to take over his driveway for a bit :D ) I drove the car home, temperature sitting on cold the whole way. Haven't had any problems since.
I am planning on getting a new radiator cap and thermostat ASAP. Mayhaps even get a pressure check.
my old TP had this,
turned out was my head, warped like a mofo and a nice big crack
so i took my car down to my mechanic for an opinion - he said it was normal...
and then i took it to a radiator place, they too said it's nothing to worry about...
both said as long as there is pressure in the system, and your not leaking any coolant anywhere... then it's nothing to worry about - they said to keep an eye on coolant leaks from the radiator cap (my cap is new - cos my old one actually leaked a bit) and check the temp guage
i got bubbling as well..but its a head gasket..??? urs could be the gasket as well
if it was my head gasket, wouldn't i see other symptoms of a blown head gasket?
like:
*lost compression
*water in exhaust
*oil in radiator
*coolant in sump
*bubbles in radiator while car is running

For Those guys with the 2.6 ltr motors there is a hose that runs from the water pump to the intake manifold this sometimes becomes blocked and can cause the problems you are talking about....
You need to remove this hose, blow it out and also check that the pipe into the water pump is not blocked aswell...
If this is left blocked for too long it can cause lots of problems like cracked heads/gaskets...
If you suspect a blown head look under the oil cap if it looks whiteish/milky it's gone...
1st & 2nd Gen also have lots of problems with Thermostats jamming....
