what happens, do you you need to rev the engine more? Do the tyres spin? Does it struggle for traction? On is it just gutless? How noticable is the power loss?

Well, according to your profile you have a 3.5 litre with tiptronic in your 92 TR wagon :doubt: , so you should have plenty of power all the time, even in the rain :D .

guys maybe he didnt bother with his profile... y not give him a break and answer his question

s00d... i find it weird why you found a difference in performance in the rain... most logical explanation is that you're experiencing wheelspin in the rain hence it feels like it's not going anywhere...

plant ur foot in rain = wheelspin

but u say after rain is finished (which one assume the road would be wet) u are fine

intriguing problem indeed

good luck with it

*runs away coz he has no ideas*

so put a pool in the back, you seem to be collecting water every time it rains

perhaps check you electrics/air filter or mayhaps the distributor

my car feels sluggish in the wet, possibly due to the humidity in the air?

On Fastmagna, there's a tip on cleaning out the distributor problem.

My only guess is the high moisture level could be causing dissy problems.

One of my earlier cars would suddenly lose power when driving thru puddles. The water was getting into the alternator and shorted it. The whole car with engine, w/screen wipers and lights going was then trying to suck about 30amps from the battery to keep going. Power dropped about 30% until the alternator fired back up again. Usualy only lasted for about 15 to 30secs.
Cheers.

my car seems to vibrate more when paused at traffic lights when the suns directly on it / out
but dosent effect the temp gauge at all...
