I have a 95 TS and not long ago i was driving to Uni in the rain and hence had my headlights on and after getting to uni, you guessed it i left them on. Now i know that when you turn the ignition off it turns off the headlights but leaves the parking lights on (which after 6 hours meant no starting for me), and i know that in the third gens it has the beeper thing when you open the door and the lights are on,

so my question after all of that is, is it possible to put the beeper thing from a 3rd gen in my TS and how easy would it be?

there is an alternative and this is to go to Jaycar and get a kit which has a beeper alarm. It should also have all the info for installing it. Here's their website if you want to check it out.

or you can simply rewire your lights up to the accessories so they turn off when you turn the car off, did this in my old mans old ute as we always left the lights on cause its the old school pull buttons and everyone always forgets to push it in to turn the lights off
