Just came back from a weekend in Caberra.

Im pleased to say that the VR-X is NOT speed limited.

I managed to get a cool run of 221-225km/h on the way to Canberra before piking out (a bend was fast approaching)

I kicked into 5th gear at 205km/h (was almost red lining) then the rev's flew back down to a respectable 4,000 before slowly rising again to 4,500 (225km/h)

Then I had to slow down to overtake a truck on the bend.

Was some serious fun!

god damn oh mighty!

im 5150rpm @ 218km/hour !!!!!

ive yet to test the haltech speed limit, which im predicting, it wont have a limit..

i reckon the limit will be when i see 6 pisions fly from the bonnet :lol: :lol:

HUH !! im gona pick up our tj2 on monday are you sure the computer hasnt been modified at all ? 225 huurah perhaps the later models they sliped in the ralliart management.

The ECU for the Sports and VRX are tweaked for a bit more performance (hence more kw's) not just the exhaust..

My next run will be video'd!! BUT ill do it in the day time.. lol

Man that is crazy, the VRX still holds the road really well at the speed. i only have the 3.0 and have had it to 210ish, it was starting to get a little unstable, i think that new suspension will probably help that out, i have lowered it but not done anything to the shocks, so it's bounces, i'd love to see it! maybe even experiance it, sounds like fun!

I was very impressed with how the car handled.. Was very solid, car didnt wave all over the road.

Once i figure out how to mount the Vid cam it will be on.. Then ill also take a trip down to the GOR in Spring when the roads arent icey.
