blue with white stripe is for remote wire and blue is for power antenna

is this for a factory head deck or aftermarket ?

if aftermarket then it will have details in the instruction book

antenna wires on aftermarket harnesses usually have a little banana female adapter to plug into as there is a bit more current there than the remote leads.

Yeah dude, the aerial should go up when you attach it to the remote turn on even when it is in CD mode. I have 2 amps and my aerail with a switch running off that wire no worries. Sony decks are a pain in the arse, hooked up a mate sterio and it wasnt working, no light in the amp we where like dam, but found out you have to put the unit in Radio mode so it puts the aerial up and turns the amp on then put it in CD mode :doubt: Sony

lol, what a stupid design.

i thought they had two different wires, one for arial, one for amp....and the arial one only turns on when u're in radio mode?

as for colgate, i don't really understand what u're trying to say haha. umm, well, check to see if the 'arial' wire is putting out anything..check ur arial..motor, relays and what not. if its stuffed, just don't listen to radio!...or run ur own arial wire..
