View Full Version : Moulded Mudflaps/spats for TL
Hi all,
I'm after some plastic moulded Mudspats (what we used to call them at holden).
The are not the flappy unco looking rubber mud flaps, but they are hard plastic and moulded to the contour of the wheel arch.
I went to a Mitsubishi dealer here in Adelaide but they said they are 100% sure you can only get mud flaps....
...however - on the mitsubishi website under accessories - they are definately the mould plastic ones.
Can anyone shed any light or does anyone actaully have the ones i am talking about?

That is a picture of the TE-TJ mudflaps. If you look closely you will see that the bumper bar in the picture is different to yours. :)
I've emailed MMAL about this.
Isn't it a bit strange that pretty much all the other accessories on the page are for the TL, but the Mudflaps are still from the old model?

defently only mud flaps. But dont worry they arent "flappy unco looking rubber mud flaps" they actually look ok. I got em on my car and they serve there purpose
I saw them at the dealer and IMO they are definately unco.

Yes the pic is for TE-TJ range. At one stage Mistsi weren't gonna do any flaps for the TL, coz it wasn't gonna be arounf that long. They are differnt because of the different rear bumper and lower moldings under the doors where the flaps mount. The TL flaps are;
Front MR927401 (not VR-X)
Rear MR927402 (sedan only)
Rear MR927403 (wagon only)
Yeah thanks anyway but i wasn't after the actual mudflaps as i said in the original post, I'm after the moulded plastic ones.

just gonna have to put up with mud on your side skirts and rear bar then unfortunately. I got mine cos on my previous car without mudflaps rocks and stuff occasionally got spat up onto the paint and chipped it, and equally annoying whenever you have to go through road works i got tar stuck to the side of the car which wouldnt be there if i had mudflaps. So i go with the "unco" mudflaps and dont even notice they are there normally. But if my car was lowered then they might start looking a bit odd
