Just got back from giving my system a test run. Damn it pumps...

Ended up getting:
Alpine CDA-9830 Head Unit
Alpine MRV-F340 4/3/2 Amp
Alpine SPR-176A Type R 6.5" Splits
Alpine SWR-1221D Type R 12" Sub

All bought and installed for the lovely price of $500
To say I'm over the moon with the sound as well as the price would be an understatement.

Anyway, yeah, I'm just very happy with it and thought I'd share. :D

Be very dissapointed if this gear isnt legit.....

If this gear is true, then they all must be factory 2nd's or he had gift vouchers..

It's all at mates rates. My friend owns a tuning shop (Evolution R) who also sells Alpine gear. All the gear is some of his demo stock from last year. He also installed it all for me for that price. I'll grab some photos tomorrow, the light is really crap at the moment.

I'm planning on picking up another amp in the future just to power the sub, it deserves more juice.

That is the cleanest car i've ever seen, apart from those with a new car smell. i would pay $500 just to have my car that clean, forget about the alpine gear, i just want my car spotless like that.

I have my tweeter mounted in the same spot.. except I used Blu Tac so I don't leave any holes when I un install my gear..

The mirrors shaking/vibrating is the best part of the sound system, who gives a **** what it sounds like when the rearview mirror is vibrating to the point of 100% blurryness, along with the side-mirrors. Who even uses the mirrors when they drive?

I dont mind them blurring, as long as they dont rattle.

On some notes it gives me a headache to look into the rear view mirror
