I got a 2002 Magna and love it. Only one problem ever and now out of warranty. I had a faulty fuel tank sender unit which was replaced. New one works fine on the fuel gauge, but the range to empty on the trip computer never went back to normal. It now reads about 120km more than it should, ie 120km when empty. It seems to work fine otherwise because it drops down at the right rate as you drive and goes up when you fill it up. I tried reseting by pressing the mode button for 2 secs as per owner manual, but this doesn't seem to change the range to empty - only the time, fuel consumption ....

Any help would be appreciated.

i also have this problem :confused:

As per attachments you've done the first box so try the next one.
Disconnect the connector on the centre display (IOD) as per Attachments

I have reset the centre display by lifting the IOD. The range to empty has gone to zero (as well as all other parameters). We will see what happens when I go out for a drive today.
