hopefully i will have my car audi in the car this week as it's taken 2 long weeks so far :(
but it's all kinda coming together now ... just have to mount the amps and run a few cables and sound deaden the boot and i think that's about it
here's a pic of the screen at it's final stage ... i just need to pull the prtective plastic off it and that's it :)
but as you can see in the pic car is still incomplete

ive thought of the same mod with the screen where yours is... but... one concern is theives... :S hope youve got a good security setup with all that on show

but been thinking about moulding in a gps though
crossovers have been in the car for quite awhile now ... unfortunatly i have no sound in the car but hope to have some mid week if all goes well

that looks so awesome! i think i know where i'm gonna mount my centre 5.1 speaker now! wanna make up a mould for me? :pray:
it kinda reminds me of a supra/rx7 console now... kinda wraps around a lot more smoother

Cd Deck - Pioneer DEH-9650MP
Dvd Player - Protec vcd/dvd/mp3/cdr/cdrw 4x45
Front Speakers - TS-C160R 16cm 2-Way 250 Watt Component Speaker
Back Speakers - Pioneer TS-A6991S6" x 9" 5-Way 460 Watt Speaker.
Dvd Screen - Roof mounted Necvox 10.4"
Dvd Screen - Necvox 7" widescreen moulded in the dash
Subs - 2 x Pioneer TS-W1201C
Amp - Crossfire VR1000D, 1000wrms@1ohm
Amp - Crossfire VR404 4x50wrms
Capacitor: 1.5 Farad
Sound Deadening: Dynamat in front doors and currently doing the boot and possably the rear doors in the near future
Speaker Wire - 12guage OFC
Power Cable - 0 Guage to Distributer Block then 4 guage to amps
Rca's - 3 sets
Fire extinguishers - x2 (1 in the boot and 1 just in front of drivers seat)
not sure if i left anything out ... but i did get a gold distributer block with led readout and gold battery terminal with led readout as well just for a bit of bling bling
Total Price = LOTS .... just ask the girlie ... i hear about it everyday

piece of plastic, the screen housing ... some bog and some fibreglass
alot of putting it in and taking it out ... took a about a week to get it right

Looks like an alpine unit. How does the lot sound through pioneer TS series anyway?
Imagine how much porn you could watch on 4 screens... if only you had more DVD units :D
Can you get TV reception on those things?
It would be pretty sweet if you could, or have independent displays...
I spose with enough money anythings possible.

no plans for normal tv in the car ... waste of time i think ... last thing i want to do is be travelling along while the girlie watches Oprah Whingey
Dvd player is a alpine look-alike and as for sound was kinda dissapointing with the speakers running just off the headunit i thought but hopefully the amp will crank the tunes out
