I was driving on the freeway today, when i heard a loud clink come from the engine bay...so ofcourse being a paraniod :oops: driver i pull over....making sure i didn't hit a kid or something, got back in and tried to drive.... sure i got a good 5 meters before i unwillingly stopped. I was in "drive" the revs were going up but wheels weren't turning. i tried changing down gears .. still no go.. then i tried over-drive BINGO!

all good... as soon as i put over-drive back on same bloody thing happens..so i dordeled home doing around 3400 rpm @ 100

WTF has happened to my car... anyone knows about this or had this problem... can you let me know what to do, thanks!

sounds like 4th gear is gone! Take it to a tranny specialist or mitsubishi...
