does the air flow meter from newer cars work on our cars?

so i can F*** off the gay air box and run CAI with a pod using the air flow meter from a newer car that just clamps onto the piping as aposed to being in that huge stupid box

well magna use karmen vortex meters i think which is the same as vr4 ones, now u can just get a pod that will go straight over the AFM, then do abit of a chop job on the old aircan so u can bracket it down.
Or u can use a AFM from a newer car, the Vr4 boys use 2G AFMs i think the are from those 2.4ltr magnas and evos. Im not exactly sure. U will need some form of Aftermarket enginemanagement to run this
