Well that time has come again, tax time, and with this will come the next stage of the magna mods. 99 TH 3.5 auto
Here is the list so far
Talon Bodykit
16" speedy raven mags
pacemaker extractors
greddy emanage
70mm oversized throttle body
K&N ram pod with THsmokers CAI kit
Full 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust with high flow cat and ultra flow 3" lukey canon muffler
Strut and Sway Bars
DBA (front) and EBC (rear) slotted rotors with performance break pads
Dark Tinting
Stereo
hhhmmm i think that it.
So now I will be spending between 1000-1500
Here are my options
1. Upgrade rims to 17" or 18" (about 1k after selling my rims now)
2. RPW's new manifold with the ram tubes (approx 1200)
3. RPW/ralliart camshafts (800 for ralliart or about 1200 for RPW)
4. Automatic transmission rebuilt with performance parts (approx 1500)
5. Torque Convertor upgrade (around 600)
6. Start to modify interior (momo gear)
7. Suspension (havent decided exactly wat yet)

Please Post Pics Of This Car Man... Pleeeeeeeeease
if your goin suspension,
get some good shocks and springs and antlift kit, u already got strut and sway bars so thats a plus
$2000 u could get nos....
seeing u have greddy the cams would be a good upgrade aswell to go along with yur other breathing mods would see alot of gains out of that
tough desicions...

pics yeah i plan on posting a large selection of pics once the next set of mods are complete, i have some pics but they are old and dont do the car justice for what has been done to this point so it will just b a waste of time posting them, dont worry they will come eventually.

I'd go either wheels or auto rebuild.

Update: Just had some discussions with dave from RPW my car will be the test car for the new manifold for the 3.5. Very excited about this it is booked in for next tuesday so i should b able to post results by next wednesday. I will keep everyone up to date with this.
Keeping fingers crossed hoping for 200hp atw+

so what your saying is that you havn't even lowered your car yet?
i would strongly recommend getting coilover suspension, i think it costs just over $1000, makes magna's look phat as when dumped, and also will greatly improve your handling.
With the rims, you may aswell keep the 16's, cheaper rubber. Plus they will look bigger if car is dumped anyway.
Later

i have thought about lowering the car but havent for several reasons
CAI with ram pod, extractors and exhaust already hang lower under the car than when it was stock, low enough that all 3 units have managed to hit the ground at some stage (speed bups, curbs ect...) if i was to lower my car i would guarantee that i would see my ram pod rolling down the side of the road. Current clearance is less than 15cm, any lower especially with this weather i would have to buy a new air flow sensor due to the water damage it would get any lower

Maybe look at getting some firmer springs made at the standard ride height? There's nothing that says you need to lower the car to get improved handling, though it does help by lowering the centre of gravity..

I for one will keep an eye out for the results. Do you have a recent hub dyno, for the usual before and after comparison?

You didn't list a 5-speed manual conversion.
That'd be my vote

you never know the auto box might even get me down the quarter mile in under 15 seconds, it should be a good chance of it. Anyway i would then have to have the faster auto magna in australia maybe at least thats something.
I did have a dyno tune down around 1 year ago, i recorded 187hp atw, since then i have added CAI exhaust and oversized throttle body plus the mainfold this week, keeping fingers crossed i break that 200hp atw mark- we think that this stage anything between 200hp atw and 215hp atw is possible, maybe even close to 220.
