Scored a few good deals and got myself my system back up and running!

I scored a JVC KD-LH915 for $480
Then I got the new Jaycar Amp, and a clearance model response sub which was $119 I think...the amp was retail but I didnt mind, I was in there and I had the cash to burn lol

I'd thought about aiming higher for a better system but then I realised that it's not worth it for me, the budget Jaycar system works better than my other one did!!

Love the head unit..it's a killer!!! :D

Good stuff :) Mind you, my system can just about give me a nosebleed, and I haven't even amped it yet. I don't think I'll be needing a sub... :) Having withdrawls at the moment though, car's been at the service centre for the last 2 days. Get it back tomorrow morning, yay!

Schweet!

I've been without any form of music in my car (besides when my guitars are in there) since it was broken into in Nov last year.

So it's awesome to have music now lol

Good to see ur happy and ur hip pockets still heavy :)

Peace

With the new Jaycar amps Im pretty sure u can flip the metal panel around. Looks a bit better without all the response logos on it. They are pretty damn sexy though either way

Oh man that sucks :( I barely lasted the month it took me after getting my new car (new one had factory tape deck.)

Glad to hear you're all kitted out again. :)

1. kill 5 shemales
2. eat 1L of ice cream every night

I think you can yeah, but I never bothered to check lol. The whole raw metal look is pretty schweet. I have to make a decent sub box though, I just built this really bodgy temporary one just so I could have some tunes :bowrofl:

EGO: Nah man we'll do laps of High Street in Penno moit! It's SSSSIIIIIIIIIKKKKKK CUZ!

Good to hear you are back in the Land of Doof..
My citizenship was cancelled due to the fact that I had a Stint of " Must Play classical to keep the Grannies in my area happy"

I had a complaint lodged against me by the Blue rinse brigade and had the local constabulary come around and inform me that the Geriatrics in my area were complaining that I was playing my music too loud when I was coming home from work... How the Hell a pair of 6x9's and 6.5 inch splits un amped can be considered to loud I will never know...

So I have now added the sub and have had my citizenship re-instated...
Now I only crank it up when I am out on the open road.. too risky in my hood to play it at anything louder then 14 out of 50 on the deck...
