has anyone installed cruise into there cars? by em selfs that is, the cars got most of the wiring and we got everything apart from one thing just wanted to know if anyone has tryed it ??

I have done a similar job in a TR 4cyl with genuine parts and I can say for sure that in a gen2 if there wasn't cruise then there isn't the connectors or wiring for it in the wiring looms and these have to be swapped to fit cruise or other options.
A gen2 with cruise will have 2 connectors between the engine and body looms. Or 3 white connectors behind the stereo, an exec only has 2 connectors here. looms with cruise will have a yellow connector for the control module behind the stereo and a 4 pin connector above the clutch on the firewall for the cruise motor.
