Well after hearing and Reading Posts from S_tim_ulate and EEk ( Yes even EEK) I have decided to go all out on my Boot Install...
The Below enclosure which I was going to sell..
Will be re-built to fit into the Narrowing Boot of my TE at the moment it is 20mm too big in length... It fitted in between the shock towers of my last Two Rides and they were way smaller cars !!!!!!!!!!
I am not going to kid anyone and say It will be in by next week as a Reality Check tells me it is gonna take a lot of Work and Money to make it fit....
So Stay Tuned as I make this Bad Boy fit and sound as good as it looks

Well good luck with it mate, there's alot of work ahead of ya and many many hours in the garage with power tools playing with mdf and fiberglass. I'm sure it'll turn out good, if you took your time and think things through properly.
It's good to see people getting involved with making their car unique and learning something in the process. Be interesting to see what you did and how long it took, perhaps i'll be inspired to do something with my boot as well.
Reality check! I doubt there is anything in the world that would inspire me enough to change my boot.
bout time someone slapped some sense into you little boy! lol
shouldn't throw awayy a box like that...although, it is annoying how it doesn't fit huh!
goodluck dude, keep us posted..
*cough* FIBREGLASS!!! *cough*

I dont think I will be glassin anything.. MDF and Black carpet and Black paint will be more the recipe..
It will still look awe inspiring when completed..

The inside of my box it white though it dosent glow with my black light.
So ill have to re-paint it with uv reactive paint and then ill hide the wiring and maybe face the sub out.
Or ill make a completely different box made of fibre glass that fits in the corners.

I messed around with Dark light and a Sub once, I got a Axis 10 incher, painted the cone of it with Fluoro face paint and Boy didn't it look freaky.. But I smoked the Axis in my Bandpass enclosure and it shattered the Perspex in the Process... So I gave the enclosure away to a friend who can afford to get the Perspex replaced... He now uses a JVC strobocone and it looks unreal at night...

i think i made my new box 10-20mm too big aswell... but i reckon some of the sealer on the sides is built up, so that can be modified... and if needed i'm sure the wheel arches wont mind being knocked in slightly...

To he honest, mine was a little too tall, but meh, it was all good, it just meant a tighter fit, and even less chance of it flying around. lol
