ok, this is for the mu11, not my wagon.
there is a hole, about pencil head sized in the block, in an awkward position in front of the alternator. it is like right in the front, near the belts, but on the side of the block.
how can i temporary plug this. as in it doesnt need to make it roadworthy, just fixable enough so water wont spurt out of there when u fill the rad up and water wil hold?
no im not stripping the block and patching it... just something temp i can do while the car is still in 1 piece.
ty.

dude hole in the block even in the water jacket is serious business. I wouldnt be driving it unless you patched it up properly. Can seriously inhibit the structual integrity of the block as a whole.

im not driving it. if u know about my ute project, then the car i got to make the prototype has the problem. i only need the engine minorly running so i can shift it, load it on trailers, and take it to be looked at once finished. easier having the engine in there and running due to moving it, and having weight in the body to show if any stress points.

so yeah, its not like im gonna be running it all the time. let alone at extensive periods.

hehe, yeah.

if you can get the sides of the hole clean with locktite primer or similar then "quickmetal" or a steel epoxy would probably bodge fix it
