Well I know I said it wasn't going to be done overnight, but this is what happens when you don't sleep much... I got up at Dawn and finished at 9:30 this morning..

Result... DAMN I AM GOOD..
The enclosure is a little too tall to sit right up against the ski port but at least it sits flush with the Sides of the Wheel arches..

How did I get it to fit ???
Easy...
I reduced the 25mm MDF side walls down to a slightly less sturdy 18mm on both ends.
So as you can see from the piccies it is a nice fit...
so I shortend the total length of it by 6mm both ends...
I then removed the Subs.. Rewired them.. polished the Chrome Magnat Magnet covers then Screwed them it dead tight and the result is awesome..
With just 75W RMS...It shakes the crockery on the shelf in the kitchen which is 20 Metres away... It is happy to play both R&B and Trance...It is a little Boomy but I put that down to the Jensens bad Cross over..

Following Photo's show the Rear and the View through the ski Port..
I still have to tidy the Amp wiring but that can wait tilll I decide if I want to False floor the boot or not... Night Shots will come when I can take them...

Bumped and Vented Back plate , Voice Coil cooling Vents 2inches of rubber,1.6 Inches of excursion and Take 600W RMS each 1200W Peak... Chrome Magnet Covers..

The enclosure front and rear is made from 25mm MDF internally Braced and Carpeted on each chamber. Has Two 6 inch Blue Neons installed in the enclosure ( with their Volume Calculated so as not to interfere with the enclosures intenal Volume..
Side walls are now 18mm. 10mm Thick Perspex Window with MAGNAT Etched into each side..
Carpet has been removed from the side walls so it can fit between the Shock towers...
No Shock tower bashing was required to avoid cracking the welds around the Wheel well..

Looks good dude, but how are you going to avoid damaging them with things in the boot?

Thats easy... If things are in the boot then I will drive responsibly and won't hoon..Good thing is.. If I have to it is fully removable

Even so I'd be worried. If it was me, I'd have some solid physical protection across in front of the box. :)

and reduce the excursion capability.. I would need to build something that would look ugly about 3 inches in front of them..
Besides I still have the back seat

LOL !!!!!!!!!!! :bowrofl:

Well I have just come home from work and all I can say is I am in Audio Heaven... It sounds so sweet I nearly cried...( Bass Headache...self induced)
I have found Gwen Stefani's " What you waiting for" sounds unreal...
I am so pleased with it... OK sure it isn't fibreglass and shiny.. But that isn't important when Sounds are more then appealing...

I wanna dump more power into the subs, but I am afraid the spot welds may not take too much Bass Shaking...
