If you've got a Pod filter (prefer K&N type, but not essential on Carbi) and like cold air then we're on a winner.

the efi models have a better designed intake system, the unit is higher flowing....i've found with mates cars with carbies that the stock unit is restrictive. This unit would be in a box connected to your intake piping where it then runs to where the old filter used to sit ontop of your carb, having the pod to filter earlier in the system there is no longer a need for the old filter on top of the carbie and it'll flow much better.

Prices to be advised. Anywhere from $100-200max. Can't say at this point. Closer to $100 is our target.

These fall into the same developmental basket as the 3rd Gen units. However I blew my R&D budget today on a plastic welder!! :dancin:

I can't guarantee it'll make them legal, it'll certainly be aimed at throwing an authority off the scent while ensuring lots of cold air makes it to your filter and engine instead of sucking in hot air from the engine bay.

Intend to incorporate a reviewed inlet system with the pod box.

could be intrested depending on price

also, adding a CAI Setup ... where in the rev range will this help and will it help power or torque more?

GoTRICE
07-10-2005, 11:29 AM
upper end power mainly, torque mildly a couple of kws could be expected as in you'd notice it
