Friends of mine and my fiances are doing an airbrushing course in Melbourne and offered to use my car as a project car to practice using auto paints... so I said yes... Just like when I did the wheels and made them pink this is very very different and may cause some negative comments, but i like the picture that they chose for the bonnet- sure it looks weird on the old magna but you get that :) I like it and it can easily be sanded off and re cleared :)
1- devil on back tailgate
2- i painted the fuel cap myself
3- bonnet from above
4- bonnet from side

id say any more than that would be overkill, flames are so 80's, seen a topless mermaid painted the bonnet of a vc commodore back when they were new look sweet as not alot of custom work out on cars

lol dunno if you were serious or not but they said they will fly up and paint your car if you pay airfares to QLD and materials... :bowrofl: seriously though anyone who is interested in getting their car painted let me know, i need to know your car model and what you want done and they are happy to quote it all :)

I hope you don't plan on selling your car anytime soon. Would be very hard to sell like that.

I think it's fantastic that you're practicing as much as possible, even if people don't like it, you're having a go and I hope it all works out. I'm impressed by your attempt(s), and though I'm not a big fan of airbrushing on cars, there's a fair amount of people who are. So keep it up ;-)

Lucky you told us its an "Airbrushing students project car!"... otherwise that's what someone would have thought too.
Brushwork by themselves don't look too bad... but have you thought about designing an overall Theme? At the mo it looks like a patchwork quilt. Just my opinion but you need a Theme to amalgamate everything, tie it all in.
Otherwise it looks like you (being the one who drives it) didn't give it much thought at all.
(imho Looks a lot like the projects we get up to here - sounded like good ideas when we're pissed.)
At least the best point is... don't think anyone would be trying to steal your car. lol
