hi, is the yellow economy light affected by the manifold vacuum, sorta like the "economy" gauges in old commodores and the like, or is there a sensor somewhere that reads the fuel/air mixture???

recently cleared the brake booster vacuum line of carbon (on manifold)
my old man played with the carby whilst i wasn't looking, not sure what he touched tho :roll:

hadn't seen the light (and still living in the dark :evil: ) before this work took place

Economy light is activated by a vacuum switch located on the firewall next to the brake booster.
Yes it is operated using the manifold vacuum. If the hose is disconnected the lamp will stay on.
