I can't. Due to the s**T design of the bumper and the s**t behind it, that it the only pplace where the CAI can go.

It would have been my first choice. Glad to see that somebody else thought of the same LOL

make them go there.. Where there is a will there is a way... it wont look right if there to close to centre..

Come on u can do it.. I got told by 9 panel beaters i couldnt do my moulded bar for duallies..

Sif ever back down.. come on you can do it.. :D

However, I will study the possibility :D

By the way, I like ur avatar. I was only wondering who might it belong to?:drool:lol

i can help you out structually, whatever holes you cut i can give you a hand to reinforce the hole with some carbon or fibreglass and epoxy resin

I was rather refering to the metal reinforcements that hold the bumper in place.

You're propbably right bout the fetish

I have thought bout placing them between headlights but then I thought that will be to much in one single line. If you have a look at my avatar will see that I tried to place them in a similar position just a bit lower but not quite happy. :D

Must be the fetish.lol

Probably. I am not sure if I have enough room between the CAI and that funny mould on the bumper.

And to be fairly onest, I am not a big fan of the evo ones. A bit to big IMO.

Personally i wouldn't go with round foggies. The car has too many rounded objects already. Go with something more oval or rectangular in shape.

you dont want the lights to small for the front of the car as it it a chunky front.. u need low as where i mounted them u cant have them to close together or they will look wrong.. need to be as wide as possible and under outside light is perfect.. :D

Fog lights need to be mounted as far outwards from the centreline of the car as possible, to be effective.

thanks a lot guys. I will give it a thought and most probably the decision will depend on how hard it is to place them in one location or another.

As for the shape of the foggies, I will have to go round, mainly because it is damn hard to cut a different shaped hole in the bumper.

Have you got the foggies yet? If not, have a look at the Hella Micro DE foglights. They're about 30mm diameter and should fit under the crashbeam. The only downside is they are rather pricey, can't remember the actuall price as the only kit I saw was for a Golf Mk4. But they are really good, tempting to replace my OE fogs with the Hellas and the Micro DE Xenon driving lights in the same opening.
