i recently bought a new pair of headlights for my magna ts but i cant seem to figure out how to remove or unscrew the old ones. i was able to unscrew the two bolts holding them against the frame of the car but i couldnt pull them out coz they are attached or screwed onto the indicator lights on its side. could someone out there kindly share some tips on how to detach the headlight from the indicator lights. i cant wait to have my new headlights on as i also have narva globes fitted in it.

Alright, on top of the indicator assembly, there will be a clip to undo to remove them. one unclipped and detached etc, unplug electrical cable. there will be 2 screws on the side to undo. then all u have to do is unplug the connectors for the headlights. It was dead easy when I put my parabolic in not that long ago

will try that and hope for success. thanks for the tip!
That will do the trick Terry. Just replaced my TR headlight.Helps to remove the front grill as well, by popping out the little black clips.

how to remove headlights from TR/TS
working from above and under the bonnet
between the indicator and the headlight there is a retainer for the indicator clip.
on early types this is a wire "R "clip this fits in a hole on the indicator clip
on later types this is a spring steel plate that wedges between the clip and the indicator body. Either way it has to be removed, then jently hold the plastic indicator clip out of it's groove and drive the indicator forward with the palm of your hand and undo the wiring.
Once the indicator is out to get the headlight out there are 2, 10mm head nuts that hold the headlight to the guard and 2, 10mm head bolts behind the grille. To remove the grill it is easiest to release the clips from the grill leaving them in the body. Then remove the clips and refit them to the grill so it just clips back on
