Well,
My coilovers have been on for a week now and what can I say.
Yeah!
My mechanic mate fitted them easily for me and set the height.
I got the sport spec with adjustable height and dampers. Easy to adjust the dampers with a little knob on the top and a quick wheel removal to adjust height.
Compared to the custom springs, its a different kettle of fish.
Don't get me wrong, the custom springs were great, especially with cornering but these coilovers take it to a new level. Definately a great spring tension/damper rate combo which just loves any type of road condition. My wife even commented on the different handling after she took the car for long drive.
I'm still playing with the damper rate to see what I like best. I think it will mainly depend on the driving conditions of the day.
These units are extremely well built and perform even better.
Height below is the minimum I like, keeps it legal and dosen't scrape the tyres but I can raise it to a birdsville bash height if ever needed.
I'd like to thank Anthony at Phillcom Rally for his service and making these "Hotbits" available for Magna's and recommend them to anyone looking for a spring/shock upgrade.
The added bonus of height adjustability is icing on the cake.
