Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with their fuel gauge?
I own a 2003 TJ Exec, it has done just over 100700kms and all of a sudden the gauge has decided to crap itself.

If I fill up it will have dropped to empty by the time I have travled 100kms, it will then stay at empty for a while then it will slowly move up and down between the half full mark and empty over the rest of the tank.

Any ideas on why this is happening???

Your fuel sender unit is failed.

Take it to mitsu dealer they will fix it for no $$ if your car is still under warranty.

being a 2003 TJ your car should be under warranty (unless otherwise it was for 3 years or 100,000km whichever comes first).

other wise it will be around $100 to get it fixed ($50 for the unit + labour).

If you are in melbourne check with Ryan (rihno on amc forums).

this is a recall item so warranty shouldnt matter
