hey guys first time ive posted in this section.... :D just want to know what does anyone with a 02 sports/vrx have for thier stock speakers?? me bro's vrx back ones were only 8watt or somthing on them.... mine has 40watt :confused: i know mine sounds heaps better. what i need to know is are these the stock speakers??? mine was a remanufacted car

What brand are they? Eurovox? Eclipse? If so then I'd say they would be stock. I think the TF's had 15w rms speakers in there.

just been re-doing my 02 sports.

Back 6x9s say nom.20W, max40W, front 6" woofer says nom.20W max 30W. I reckon they get very messy long before they hit 20W, assuming that is RMS.

In the 2002 TJ series I Sports / VR-X and same with all models 96 TE exec onwards they came standard with 15W max eurovox speakers.

In the series II Sports / VR-X the came with 2 way splits and 2 way 6x9's 40W max 20W nominal.

Verada GTV which has "10 speakers" has 3way splits and the same 2 way 6x9's. Both rated at 20WRMS.

TJ Ralliart which has "14 speakers" has 3 way 6x9's and 2 way splits and 2way coaxials.

Few TJ series II have 2 way co-axials front and 2 way 6x9' rear 20WRMS like the Magna LE.

so that means if i replace the stock speakers i would definitely notice a difference then! I WANT MY INFINITY's !!
