Since the new P plater restrictions will prevent me from doing anything for engine performance other than an oil change. Im going to pour some cash down my suspension.
My plans were
KYB shocks (recomended by my wrench)
King springs (40mm drop all round)
Whiteline strut brace
Whiteline camber kit (possibly)
Could you recomend any changes to this list?
all u need is springs......oh and maybe a strut brace. anything else i cant justify paying the price for, especially after the MM04 reefton cruise.

how can you not justify it if you havent had any of the other mods put on?
its like saying "i cant justify buying a raincoat for a rainy day", if you have never worn a raincoat before in your life....

I do need new shocks as the current ones are rooted. the springs are fine but my mechanic said "its parts cost only so if you want to lower it, do it while im doing the shocks" so i will.
Strut braces are always highly spoken of.
the other parts ive heard mentioned that im considering are camber kits and sway bars.
But ive never been a suspension guru so Im not sure if they would offer much difference (if any)

Ive put in monroe gt gas shocks along with my kings lows. and the handling went way up around corners. Stiffer suspension is definately worth it, also look into wider tyres or somethin..
From what im told, the rear sway bars do alot. Some say more than a strut brace..

Sway bars first.
Your car doesn't have a rear bar.
Biggest bang for the buck is to put in an add-on rear bar first.
If you shocks are worn and they were slightly softer than normal, as were the springs on a Verada you will find that changing them will make a big difference.
Bst bet for Shocks will be KYB's then Monroe gas.

so what are sway bars worth?
Ive also been told that a 60mm drop at the front and a 40mm at the back is better for magnas but im worried about the ground clearance issues.

because i saw the way other pplz cars handled compared to mine...and quiet honestly the cost for me does not justify the improvement in handling.
